YHA Australia again proves it’s the best in the backpacking business, taking home the gold at Tourism Awards nights across several Australian states.

Melbourne Metro YHA, Sydney Central YHA, Perth City YHA and Lakeside Manor YHA all won the Best Backpacker Accommodation in their respective states. This is the third time Melbourne Metro YHA has won the Victorian Tourism Award for Backpacker Accommodation, and now enters the Hall of Fame.

In Queensland, Brisbane City YHA’s $19 million redevelopment project has been heralded the state’s best ‘New Tourism Development’ at the 2009 Queensland Tourism Awards.
