You can try and go somewhere hoping to find people to party there, but you can also arrange to go with your friends, colleagues, class mates… and take care of your stay in advance, exactly knowing what the price is, with no hidden fees or other bad surprises.
Hostling International Slovenia suggests the

Hostel Idrija. Suha is just a few minutes away from the Lake Bohinj and is a great place for teambuilding and the hostel Idrija represents the gateway into the underground world of mercury. The entire town of Idrija gained the prestigious title of "EDEN - European destination of excelence".
During the summer you might also want to refresh yourself in a spa, so Čatež and Ptuj are waiting for you.
Hostel Kurent in Ptuj is in the oldest town in Slovenia and stands on the very entrance of the town. The
Hostel MC Brežice is at the beginning of the old medieval centre of Brežice, with great offer for groups, as they feature the facilities such as their own concert hall. Last, but not least, we also offer you the
hostel Portorož, with a great view of the Slovenian, Croatian and Italian coast. It’s a great base for your group to enjoy the seaside, as it’s only a short stroll away from the beach.
1. Youth Hostel Tresor
On the busiest street of Ljubljana a new hostel opened up in the former bank. It’s a unique and modern hostel envisioned to offer maximum comfort for the guests. Experience sleeping in what used to be a conference room, having breakfast in a real swimming bank vault and fraternise in the atrium with a glass roof. All the guests also get to use free WiFi and all the rooms have air conditioning.
Hostel Tresor has 28 rooms with 105 beds and offers a TV room for guests, making it appropriate for groups also.
2. Youth Hostel Koča Suha
Larger groups and families, who would like to spend their holidays in the peaceful nature of the Triglav National Park are all welcome at
Cottage Suha. We can accommodate 24 people in different types of rooms. Cottage Suha was completely renovated in year 2013. Guest can use a brand new and completely equipped kitchen and a spacious dining room. There is a big garden next to Cottage Suha (800 m²) which guests can use – there are also deckchairs available with barbeque and 3 wooden outdoor tables for a pleasant outdoor experience.
3. Youth Hostel Idrija
Idrija is a place of many beauties – natural and cultural, exhibitions, galleries etc. To get a feel of the city and visit all its attractions, we invite you to visit us for a few days and stay the night at the
hostel Idrija. Youth Hostel Idrija has a beautiful location on top of a hill, with a view of the star shaped town valley and the morning coffee in the heart of the town just a 5 minute walk away. Hostel Idrija can offer you a double room, three or four bedded rooms or a group room for 8 people. The bathroom and toilets are shared.
4. Youth Hostel Brežice
Hostel Brežice is a modern and stylish decorated hostel that provides accommodation for all generations. Its convenient location in the middle of the town’s park ensures a pleasant stay and easy access to various points of interest. It offers accommodation in double rooms, six bed dorms with shared bathroom and toilet facilities and private ensuites with private bathrooms. All rooms are air-conditioned and lovingly decorated with silhouettes of animals. With additional beds it can accept up to 71 guests. Guests can use the common kitchen which is also equipped with a TV and a DVD player. On the first floor there is terrace furnished with tables and chairs, which provides a pleasant place for socializing or relaxing.
5. Youth Hostel Kurent
Hostel Kurent is located in the heart of the oldest Slovenian town – Ptuj. It's situated near the bus and train station. There are parking places in the immediate vicinity. The hostel is a newer building and provides access for disabled people. Hostel Kurent is visited by individual guests as well as by guests from primary schools, secondary schools, associations, institutions, etc. Hostel Kurent can accommodate 53 guests in 13 rooms. There is a multipurpose room for 120 people, a computer room, modern kitchen and dining room and an air-conditioned lounge on the ground floor. There is a kitchen, dining room, computer room, laundry room, bathroom, multipurpose room on the first floor, and there are 13 rooms on the second floor.
6. Youth Hostel Portorož
Hostel Portorož stands at the highest point in town and is a great starting point for sightseeing of surrounding towns: Portorož, Piran, Strunjan, Fiesa, Sečovlje and the bit more remote Koper and Izola. The building is on the patch of land of 5000m2, so there’s enough room to park a bus and 15 cars. Along with the parking lot there’s a lot of loan, for various recreational activates of our guests – sports, relaxing, party, picnic... There are also two covered pergolas; one is used as the summer dining room and is a joint facility for gathering, when no meals are served. The other is a picnic area, with two grills and a preoperational space.
