new Hostel at the capital of the Brazilian state of

Campo Grande. Mato Grosso do Sul is a very interesting and peculiar state, as it is located in a biome that is completely different from all the others you find in the country. We’re talking about the Pantanal biome with its breathtaking landscape and diversity. This biome is considered one of the largest tropical wetlands on the Earth and most of it is preserved, so if you enjoy nature, this part of Brazil should be in your backpacking plans. One interesting characteristic of the Pantanal is that most species that are on the verge of extinction in the rest of the country are abundant there.
