Planning permission has been approved for
YHA (England & Wales) to create a 180 bed Youth Hostel in the iconic seaside city of Brighton. The Royal York, one of Brighton’s most famous hotels, is a grade III listed property and has seen re-incarnations as hotels and offices in the past. This will be the latest in a long line of beautiful and historic properties which are now home to YHA Youth Hostels and once again adds to the diversity of places to stay throughout England and Wales.
The final designs and internal layouts for this brand new location are currently being created and approved with a view to opening early this summer.
This brand new Youth Hostel will provide top quality accommodation on a budget for visitors to this most vibrant of UK cities. Well known for its mix of creativity and colour, tourists can enjoy days out at the beach, soak up some culture at the cities abundant museums and theatres and, of course, party until the early hours as you become part of Brighton’s legendary nightlife.
