Genoa Youth Hostel is located about 3 km from the old center of the city, in a quiet residential area, well served by public transport, connecting the hostel to the city center and to Brignole Train Station (departure point for excursions to the most famous resorts of Riviera Ligure).
From the rooms you can enjoy a wonderful view on the old town and the harbor. The hostel can provide accommodation up to 200 people, both in dorms and en suite private rooms.
The hostel is surrounded by a wide terrace and provided with a car park, large enough also for buses.

What to do in Genoa
- Visit of Genoa old port or the walking tour of the city center. If you prefer you can do it aboard the little train Pippo or comfortably sitted on the open-top bus.
- Visit of the palaces called “Rolli”, the noble families’ luxury properties dating back to 1500 and 1600, that in the past were used to host the high personalities travelling for state visits and that in 2007 were declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

- If you are seeking for adventure you cannot miss "Genova Righi" Adventure Park: discounted entrance fee for HI members only (10 € from Monday to Friday and € 15 at weekends).
- Visit to the Aquarium of Genoa, the largest marine park in Europe with 71 tanks and 800 species of fishes including dolphins, sharks, turtles and penguins. You can have a lunch at Restaurant Le Vele, located in the most picturesque area of the Aquarium, overlooking the harbor and in front of the Biosphere by Renzo Piano .
- Visit to the Antarctic National Museum: a new experience to discover the continent of ice.
- The Biosphere: an ecosystem of millions of years ago, including rare plants and animals.
- The City of Children and Teenagers: 90 fascinating science games for children and young adults aged between 2 and 14 years old.

- Visit to the Submarine Nazario Sauro: the first ship-museum in Italy that you can visit in the water.

- For a jump in the past you can admire the majestic old abbeys (as the one in Tiglieto) and the castles belonging to families Doria, Fieschi, Spinola and Malaspina, as the one in Casella and Campo Ligure.
