Youth Hostel Pod Voglom

Hostel pod Voglom offers accommodation with breakfast. There are a total of 133 beds available in the annex and in the central building of the hostel, where there is a reception and a dining room/restaurant.

Hostel pod Voglom is located on the shores of Lake Bohinj in the heart of the Triglav National Park. It is surrounded by greenery and has a large outdoor terrace overlooking the lake. There is an equipped place for volleyball, badminton and table tennis. It is an excellent starting point for mountain tours and active experiences in nature. In our sports agency PAC SPORTS, which is part of the hostel, we offer the rental of sports equipment (bike, canoe, kayak, e-bike) and guided sports activities: canyoning, rafting and guided bicycle tours and tandem flights. Access to the hostel is easy by public transport directly from Ljubljana – the bus stop is right next to the hostel. The parking lot is large and free.

A Wi-Fi connection is available, a TV set and an LCD projector are available in the common area, which also serves as a dining room. Bed linen and towels are provided; however, no soap or shampoo is available in the rooms.

The hostel is suitable for closed groups, school groups, and families and all other age groups who come to Bohinj or hike to the mountains are also welcome. Pets are welcome. The facilities are variously equipped and include the following:

• central building (quad rooms, shared toilets, multipurpose room with audio-video equipment, double rooms with bathroom or shared bathroom) and
• annex (quad, triple, double and single rooms, private bathrooms, balcony).

The central building is on the shore of Lake Bohinj. There is a reception and a common dining room with a beautiful view of the lake and a green backdrop of beech trees as well as billiard and table football. Rooms with Wi-Fi connection are arranged as follows:

• three double rooms with a private bathroom,
• four quad rooms with shared beds,
• three double rooms with a shared bathroom,
• one triple room with a shared bathroom,
• two quad rooms with a shared bathroom.

Annex Rodica is right next to the hostel. The rooms have a balcony and are equipped with a private bathroom and Wi-Fi connection and are arranged as follows:

• 12 quad rooms with a private bathroom and balcony,
• eight triple rooms with a private bathroom and balcony,
• two triple rooms with separate bedrooms and connecting bathroom and balcony,
• eight double rooms with bunk beds and a private bathroom and balcony,
• two double rooms with bunk beds and a private bathroom.
