Latvia - located in Eastern Europe on the eastern shores of the Baltic Sea, with about 500 km of coastline, has an interesting architectural mixture of styles dating back to XIII century; as well as many natural resources. To the tourists we highly recommend tours of Art Nouve. Riga’s architecture is a mix of Polish, Swedish, German, Russian, Soviet and Latvian periods of history and are seen in health resort planning and development. For nature lovers we recommend the geological findings of Asterolepis ornata from the Devon period (fish fossils), bird watching (Ciconia nigra, Aquila pomarina, A.clanga, Haliaetus albicilla and more), and also you can visit the sulphur mineral water springs. We also offer team building events which you may attend.
In 2009 the first HI hostel in Latvia, operated by Hostelling Latvia, has opened its doors and we invite you to enjoy its hospitality. The hostel is located in the largest sea resort in Baltic Countries – Jurmala, just 15 km from the international airport and 20 km from the centre of capital of Latvia – Riga. The beach is only 100m from the hostel, and there are many ways to reach the city centre safely (even on foot). Different room types can accommodate 70 guests. A large common room has a fireplace, and there’s also a guest kitchen. Hostel guests also get a free parking place.
