Youth Hostel Pod Voglom in Bohinj received a certificate for quality

The Friday, June 3rd, was a special day of Youth Hostel Pod Voglom in Bohinj. After a few months of preparation it has received the certificate of quality - HI Quality or HI-Q for short.

The HI Quality certificate is a document that a hostel receives, after meeting all the criteria demanded of the Youth Hostel.

The HI-Q certificate is in a way similar to other quality certificates, with a significant difference - the HI-Q is fully adapted for the operation of Youth Hostels. Thus it’s much more important for a hostel if it receives it than any other certificate in the tourist sector.

The main reason for adapting a certificate in order to target specifically Youth Hostels in order to reach the HI-Q standard was, to ensure a high quality service. Every aspect of managing a hostel is under exemption and even problem solving and more important prevention that a same mistake could happen twice or completely prevent it from happening in the first place, are an important part of the HI-Q standard.

After some months of preparation that were don in the Youth Hostel Pod Voglom in order to get their enterprise in line with the HI-Q guidelines the lead auditor of Hostelling International Mr. Iddan Kroll from Israel, who commended the high level of professionalism by the staff, gave them the certificate.
