Seaside Hostel with Mini Golf and Cycling Opportunities
Danhostel Nymindegab is located between Germany and Søndervig, close to dunes, forests, and rugged nature on the west coast of Denmark. The hostel is Bed + Bike certified, with storage space and tools for bicycles. There is room for groups, families and single travellers who wish to spend time enjoying the scenic areas of Southwest Jutland.
The hostel has a total of 70 beds – 23 rooms, a house, and 4 cabins, each with a kitchenette and a loft with 2 extra beds. All rooms have a private bathroom, terrace, and direct access to a peaceful and tranquil garden-like area. Each room has a mythological name and a story to tell. The hostel has two kitchens; one for single guests and families, and a larger one for groups. Free parking and WIFI are available, plus a kiosk, a playground, table tennis, billiards, and many other amenities.
The road to Danhostel Nymindegab meanders through the beautiful countryside straight to the front door. The hostel’s closest neighbour is one of Denmark's most popular miniature golf courses called Golf Park West. It has challenging courses with artificial turf, hilly terrain, fountains, and waterfalls. Blåbjerg Plantation, less than 8 km away, has its own walking and biking trails, and offers horseback riding. To get the most out of your trip to Southwest Jutland, try out the various west coast routes. One route runs 560 km from Skagen in the north of Denmark, to Rudbøl in the south.
