Anja Turk

While studying Cultural studies on Faculty in Ljubljana she did internship at the Slovenian newspaper Večer. Way in the world of journalism was determined, when the opportunity to continue the work at the newspaper was offered. She is engaged not only in writing, she is also a passionate traveller; ever since she put a backpack on her back for the first time and headed into the unknown. Quite accidentally she discovered PZS, joined a phenomenal team, and now as a volunteer writes articles for the online newspaper Globetrotter. In her repertoire of jobs is also working for the European youth capital Maribor 2013, writing articles for the Web-portals and magazines, which theme is travel. Weekends she mostly spends in the gym as a volleyball referee. 

 

For her to travel is to discover the world, as well as to discover herself.
