Tina Zorko
Volunteer of Hostelling International Slovenia
Tina studies Interlingual Communication at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana. She was terrified of foreign languages as a little girl, but she eventually realised learning new words and expressions is actually pretty amazing. So she ended up studying English and French, and, just to spice things up a little bit, she has also recently started learning Korean. She is constantly planning new adventures, and every time she finds herself with nothing to do, her thoughts drift to her next travel destination. She is always happy to introduce her home country of Slovenia to any foreigner that crosses her path, whether they are interested or not. However, she hates every question about traditional Slovene dishes – so much so that she might even cook one of them, just to avoid the difficult task of describing all the ingredients. Even though she loves travelling, some of her favourite days are those spent at home, enjoying a good book while sipping a cup of tea or hot chocolate.
