Say HI for Peace 2025 & Children’s Joy at Sea

Across the world, in more than 30 countries, hostels will host creative and playful activities throughout September, encouraging travellers to connect. There will be board games, sports events, creative workshops and also special HI Connection Cards that help travellers meet new people and share stories. How is Hostelling International Slovenia supporting the campaign?

At HI Slovenia, we are supporting the campaign in our own unique way with the charity project ‘Children’s Joy at Sea’.

All funds raised from HI membership card sales in September will be donated to provide seaside holidays for children with fewer opportunities at the Youth Health and Summer Resort of Red Cross Slovenia Debeli Rtič.

This will allow even more children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds to enjoy an unforgettable 7-day seaside holiday during the autumn school break – a time to experience joy, relaxation, and new friendships.
